  Help requests in chatbox
Posted by: Chezzy - 04-07-2016, 02:21 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (1)

Okay, to keep this to the point:

I'm going to start banning people from the chatbox who, in ANY way, directly or indirectly, asks for help regarding the programs.

Help (noun), in this case, refers to any sort of assistance that would make it easier for one to use the programs (if at all).
Help can refer to any sort of assistance that would allow an individual to know how to use a program, if that individual did not know how before.
It can refer to any sort of assistance that would allow an individual to know how to set up a program, if that individual did not know how before.
It can also refer to any sort of assistance that would allow an individual to have any questions answered, regarding the setup and use of a program.

Even if an individual directs a question to a specific user, if the question is asked in the chatbox and it constitutes a form of asking for help, I will ban that individual.

The message does not have to be a question. If an individual writes any message that hints for a response that constitutes help in any way ("loader gives me finding.. nothing"), I will also ban that individual.

Of course, help is not limited to these criteria.

Valid examples of help include:
"How can I fix ___ error with (program)?"
"How do I do ___ with (program)?"
"Why does ___ happen with (program)?"
"Can someone give me tips on how to use ___ for (program)?"
"Can someone give me tips on why ___ happens with (program)?"
"How can I buy ___?" (Seriously, this one is easy.)
"Can someone send me ___ for (program)?"
"I'm experiencing this problem where ___. Anyone else experiencing this error?"
"(Program) ___ and I don't know how to fix it / I don't know why it does this"
"For some reason ___ is happening but I did ___."
"I do ___ but ___ still happens." / "I do ___ but ___ isn't happening." /"I do ___ but it isn't ___."
"hi is there anyone who can help me with time warm, it seems like it's not working for me for some reason. when i open the AQNLoader and try to load the timewarp it downloads a DLL file ? ."
"any solutions pm me plz"

Asking questions regarding the general status of a program, or anything not regarding the setup and use of said program, is not considered asking for help.

For example:
"Is (program) still detected?"
"Is ___ with (program) fixed yet?"
"Does (program) work with the latest version?"

I know this wasn't enforced before but I will be enforcing it now.
People seriously need to know how to use the search function. The chatbox is a chatbox, and not a supportbox.

PS If you have to think twice about whether your message is going to be a request for help, it might as well be considered one and you shouldn't send it (unless you're sure that it isn't).

PPS If you want to try me, you're going to get banned. And I might ban your profile too.

  New Relax Download and Intructions.
Posted by: Hellsing - 03-02-2016, 10:57 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (16)

As the title states, Relax has a brand new Relax download and proper instructions have been implemented with a great amount of detail. I worked hard on this new layout and would like some feedback from it, the reason of the reworking of the layout and the way we do things is to reduce the mass amount of confused members we have.

I would like to personally thank Kev and Ben for helping in creating the thread and giving me feedback on it, but now I would like to hear from the community, check out the new thread HERE, and tell me all your opinions on the thread.

My future plan is to do this for all remaining products but would like some feedback from you guys first, let us know.

In case you need the link again, go here: http://www.theaquila.net/showthread.php?tid=5255

Kind Regards, Hellsing.

Lifetime Subscriptions for Month of Feburary
Posted by: Kev - 02-03-2016, 06:06 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (9)

Been meaning to do this for a while now, I've been procrastinating a lot on tons of things so better now than never.

For people that are purchasing a subscription for lifetime I strongly advise to save the date and email used on the payment if the system ever screws up and removes a user from the group.  (This will happen if you have a current subscription and buy one, at the end of your current one the system will remove you from the group and you can easily PM me with the needed info so I can confirm the payment dates.)

So yeah enjoy the month window to get lifetime.

osu!SpywareRemoval - Feel safe knowing they won't be screenshotting your monitor
Posted by: Kev - 01-23-2016, 08:45 AM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (32)

Made a quick tool that would disable the ability they have with Bancho to request a screenshot of your desktop and steal files from your computer whenever they feel like it.

Instructions are on the tool, please do spread this :3.  It's a free tool and has no restrictions on who can load it, I have packed it with Themida though (false positives will show up.)

Main computer got accessed, how would the community like to have this happen?
Posted by: Kev - 11-24-2015, 12:51 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (6)

So I've been on vacation for the past 3+ weeks.  I recently had someone that was able to access my main computer do some stuff on there.  I also found a couple suspicious programs doing a scan tonight on my tablet, can't tell if anything was on my main computer because it's not on teamviewer...  I have no freaking clue what kind of thing could have ever accessed my computer but I've always thought being safe and without a anti-virus was one of my strong points.  Maybe not so this time around, going to end up doing a full password reset which I hate doing because the system sucks.

Everyone should make sure their emails are correct prior to me doing this.  I think 24 hours is a good enough notice for everyone to get their emails in order.

I feel like the site may be safe, whoever had access was targeting my steam accounts it appears.  I doubt that they seemed to care about AQN seeing as how there was a ton of theft happening between my accounts.

Once again, terribly sorry for the incoming password reset but it's just to be extra safe.

  Regarding subscription changes and refunds
Posted by: Chezzy - 11-22-2015, 05:22 AM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (2)

To prevent abuse, these policies are going to be enforced from now on.

'No refund', you cannot refund the products we are selling.

You may request a change for your subscription only once.
This is to prevent people from changing their subscription every single week or day, depending on what they would like to use.

In your proof of purchase, you must include the purchase date, transaction ID, sale amount (price) and type of subscription.
This is to be able to confirm your subscription and to change your subscription with the correct amount of remaining time.

In order to request a subscription change, you must include the necessary information outlined in the message templates below.
You can even copy and paste these message templates, and then just fill in the necessary information! Easy!

Subscription Change

Code:
Account Name:
Current subscription:
Desired subscription:
Proof of Payment:

Example:

Spoiler Show
Code:
Account Name: Chezzy
Current subscription: osu!Relax 1 month
Desired subscription: osu!Timewarp 1 month
Proof of Payment: https://i.gyazo.com/a37ada1c57b28d66091bc5208c82fb4d.png

If your request does not have all the necessary information, or you do not meet the requirements, your request will be denied.

Thanks for your (potential) cooperation~

Weird expansion - CSGO market float lookup / finder tool
Posted by: Kev - 08-10-2015, 01:56 PM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (10)

Tad bit out of the ordinary but I created something for personal use and had some interest in it from other people.  I'm deciding to sell it to users that know what they're doing and they know they can make a good profit with this tool (hence why the price will continue to go up with each person purchasing it.)

This is basically a tool that will look up wear float values of skins / items on the CSGO steam market and sort them by lowest float (cleanest looking).

Here's some console eye candy.

Anyone posting programs they made must now post the source code also.
Posted by: Kev - 06-15-2015, 04:52 AM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (20)

Sick of hearing rumors of shit and what not, will no longer be allowing anyone to post a program without posting the source code also so that users can self compile it.

  Regarding issues...
Posted by: Dev - 06-26-2014, 10:37 AM - Forum: News and Announcements - Replies (2)

Everyone, please use SEARCH before you ask a question. If you don't, the administration team of AQN may take actions.

I REPEAT, USE THE SEARCH TOOL BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS.

You have been warned.
